As a consultant, you will be responsible for the sale of all products and services provided through our Technology Services area. Your primary focus will be working with credit unions to evaluate their technology solutions, identify gaps, and help remediate those gaps. You will assist credit unions in identifying the solutions that meet their requirements and strategic goals through discovery calls, vendor evaluation presentations, and reference calls or visits. You will also lead and mentor Solutions Consultants within the team.Essential Functions

Develop a comprehensive understanding of each credit union’s business, strategic initiatives, and technological aspirations.Conduct thorough assessments of credit unions’ current landscapes, identifying gaps and providing strategic recommendations for enhancement.Strategically identify and cultivate new business opportunities for Symitar core processing and add-on services, fostering profitable relationships.Establish and nurture robust relationships with prospective and existing credit unions, ensuring sustained engagement.Act as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding credit unions' goals, challenges, and opportunities, and providing tailored solutions. Offer market insights and sophisticated product recommendations to clients, leveraging industry expertise.Facilitate pivotal meetings and events, such as project kickoffs and vendor demonstrations, ensuring seamless project progression.Provide guidance and mentorship to Solution Consultants, fostering their professional growth and enhancing overall team performance.Assist with development and management of budgets, as well as create accurate sales forecasts to support strategic and financial decision-making as it relates to Technology products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and implement cutting-edge technology solutions aligned with business objectives.Required Skills and Knowledge

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, business development, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology or a related field.Strong sales and business development skills, with a track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities.Strong understanding of credit union operations and technology solutions, with the ability to assess and recommend improvements.Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale projects, including vendor selection and implementation.Excellent analytical skills to evaluate technology solutions, market trends, and client needs, providing actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with credit unions, vendors, and internal teams.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing needs.
