We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team, focusing on the intersection of microbiome, immunology and cancer research. The successful candidate will investigate the role of the human microbiome in cancer development, progression, and treatment response, leveraging cutting-edge methodologies in microbiology, immunology, and systems biology.Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth research into the interactions between host microbiota and tumor biology, with an emphasis on understanding how microbial communities influence cancer susceptibility, tumor growth, and therapy outcomes.Employ advanced techniques in microbiome analysis, including metagenomics, metabolomics, and bioinformatics, to elucidate the complex interplay between the microbiome and cancer.Explore how Fecal Microbiota Transfer can influence the efficacy of cancer treatments, including immunotherapy and chemotherapy, and its role in mitigating adverse effects.Develop and validate novel therapeutic strategies targeting the microbiome to enhance cancer treatment efficacy and mitigate adverse effects.Qualifications:PhD in Microbiology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, or a related field with a strong focus on microbiome research.Expertise in next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, and data analysis as applied to microbiome studies.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.Experience with in vitro and in vivo models of cancer, particularly in the context of microbiome research.Languages:English Proficiency proof required for candidates arriving on J-1, J-2, or F1 + OPT visa status.Preferred Application Materials:CVThree referencesAll application materials should be submitted directly via email.
