Sr. Account Manager - Water ((Remote - Mid-Atlantic)
Kemira's Industry & Water segment supports municipalities and water intensive industries in the efficient and sustainable utilization of resources. As a specialty Chemicals Manufacturer, Kemira helps municipalities, private operators, and water intensive industries in the transition towards circular economy by enabling water reuse and improved water treatment efficiency at every stage of water management.
We are actively seeking a Sr. Account Manager to manage existing customer accounts and drive growth of existing and potential new products and digital services in various municipal and industrial applications. Help satisfy existing and new customers unmet Chemical Applications and Digital Solutions needs by offering technical solutions and providing technical expertise from lab work through field trials to drive commercialization of new business.
Responsibilities:
Commercial responsibility for customers within assigned TerritoryDrive revenue growth of chemical application and digital solution sales in the municipal and industrial sectorAct as a service resource to customers by performing testing and chemical conversions that supports sales initiatives and strategiesParticipate in promotional events including but not limited to trade-shows, including set-up and teardown of presentation materialsContinuous learning through attendance to internal and external training courses, and technical conferencesCollaborate with internal and external service providers, when required, to maintain and install our equipmentWhat we offer:

What you need:
Four year college degree in Business or ScienceMinimum 5 years of water or wastewater operations and / or relevant sales experienceGood understanding of water chemistry and water plant processesCommercial and Financial acumenInnovative; with strong problem solving skillsStrong planning and organizational skillsStrong relationship skillsExcellent communication skills, written & oralAbility to travel (up to 50%) primarily in the US but some international travel may be required
