YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary:

The Account Executive is responsible for the management of customer accounts within their territory. This includes quoting, tracking, and forecasting sales. The individual will work closely with the sales team, customer service, and operations to maximize sales in their local territory and ensure customers receive superior service and quality products. Job Description:
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and comprehensive knowledge of the potential of each account in
    assigned territory.
  • Participates actively in development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing and sales
    business plans that increase gross profit and expand market share in assigned territory.
  • Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as
    needed, and oversee all sales activity in your assigned sales territory.
  • Coordinate with other members of the sales team, procurement, and operations as needed to
  • Generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
  • Comprehension of Bid packages and requirements for retaining and establishing strong customer
    base.
  • Oversee and ensure that customer quotations are kept up to date.
  • Maintain customer database, forecasting sales and gross profit (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  • Ensure effective account management and maintenance of team accounts.
  • Understanding of, and the ability to work within, organizational reporting structures working closely
    with the Sales Manager, Branch Manager, and the local sales team.
YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in previous roles. Industry specific experience preferred.
  • Experience with a CRM system such as Salesforce required.
  • A valid driving license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and foster complex customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Capable of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members and other departments within the organization.
  • Dedication to their department and a willingness to help other team members as needed.
  • Ability to comprehend company policy, corporate directives, and infrastructures.
  • Ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
