Responsibilities

Job purpose

StoneX is looking to recruit an experienced senior project manager who will be responsible for executing a diverse range of projects, with primary focus on cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and business resiliency. The successful candidate will work directly with senior stakeholders and internal departments to drive projects from initiation through to completion, communicating timelines and project progress along the way. The candidate will balance working closely with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to follow best practice ways of working, along with our IT Securities team to ensure the successful delivery of their projects. Role and Responsibilities

Your main roles and responsibilities will be as follows, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver end-to-end securities projects, coordinating multiple delivery teams across a range of disciplines, geographical locations and time zones
  • Monitor, control and report on project progress and budget
  • Manage JIRA and other internal tools at project level
  • Capture team estimates and use them to create detailed project plans
  • Re-scope and re-baseline projects as required
  • Help teams refine scope and requirements
  • Secure and organise project resource including vendors
  • Track and mitigate against risk and issues
  • Map and monitor any dependencies
  • Manage and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Run relevant project meetings
  • Communicate updates to sponsors, stakeholders and Heads of EPMO
  • Help achieve departmental objectives and KPIs


Qualifications

Skills and Experience
  • 7+ years experience as a project manager
  • Evidence of implementing cybersecurity projects, including 3rd party security products
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of cybersecurity products Strong leadership skills, accustomed to managing multiple projects, delivery teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly understand technology and software-based systems.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise workload, complete multiple tasks to deadlines and work under pressure
  • Self-motivated and a pro-active approach
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of PM governance and tools
  • Proven ability to establish credibility with senior stakeholders, excellent influencing skills to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Experienced in Agile scrum methodology and SDLC is preferred
  • Analytical skills or experience would be beneficial
  • Experience in the financial services sector is preferrable
  • Excellent self-management skills, able to work independently using own initiative, being flexible and adaptable
  • The role will be based in the office 3 days per week minimum

  • A professional qualification in project management and/or security is preferred
