We believe our extraordinary performance and culture are driven by our dedicated and committed people.What’s the job all about?The primary role of the Fund Operations Specialist is to oversee the firm's pooled products, acting as the central liaison between all stakeholders to address operational and servicing needs. This role requires a deep understanding of fund accounting, reporting, and client requirements, with a focus on proactively providing tailored solutions and expert guidance. The Specialist is instrumental in maintaining high levels of operational efficiency and client satisfaction, achieved through expert data management and effective client engagement.The essential functions of the role include:Serve as a Resource:

Act as a key resource for internal staff, addressing and resolving operational issues related to fund accounting, subscriptions, redemptions, wires, and trade settlement with the custodian.Client Relationship Management:

Manage client relationships by interacting with both clients and relevant vendors to ensure consistent and high-quality service.Daily Fund Operations Oversight:

Oversee daily fund operations, including daily cash reconciliation, NAV calculations, resolution of aged requests, and monitoring internal communications with the Investment Team to promptly address discrepancies.Data Entry and Portfolio Accounting:

Execute data entry tasks with precision for portfolio accounting purposes, ensuring all financial information is accurately captured and reflected in the system.Trade Settlement Support:

Facilitate the efficient and timely settlement of trades by supporting the trade settlement process.Operational Software Proficiency:

Gain a deep understanding of the operational details of software and systems to effectively manage the flow of funds within the LGIP platform.Report Generation:

Generate reports to assist with the portfolio management process, ensuring accurate and relevant data is available for decision-making.LGIP Platform Management:

Learn the linkage between the LGIP website and the investment portal, updating required information daily using operational software tools.Process Documentation:

Contribute to the documentation of existing operational processes under established guidelines, aiding in the creation of a comprehensive procedural manual to enhance operational clarity and efficiency.Role-Specific Training:

Actively participate in role-specific training programs designed to improve knowledge and skills pertinent to the operations of the LGIP platform.Professional Development:

Commit to continuous professional development and performance improvement to enhance the effectiveness of operational functions.RequirementsThis Team Member will have:Education:

A Bachelor's degree is required.Industry Experience:

Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in fund accounting, investment operations and/or portfolio accounting.Technical Proficiency:

Advanced proficiency with Bloomberg is necessary. Microsoft Office proficiency required. Advanced Excel functionalities, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, are required.Communication Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical skills are essential.Software Proficiency:

A demonstrated ability to learn and understand Chandler's vendor platforms and software applications is crucial.
