Responsible for providing guidance and assistance to assigned dealers through analysis of dealer sales operations and recommending actions to attain sales objective.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssists dealership personnel in making sales calls on current and prospective customers.Analyzes dealer operations including sales, inventory, marketing, sales prospecting, market penetration, personnel, facilities, and capitalization. Develops specific Dealer Business Plan action plans based on operations analysis, for attainment of sales and other business objectives.Assists dealer and dealership personnel with RA/FA requests, vehicle ordering, conducting product and sales training, implementing corporate and regional support programs and adherence to Isuzu policy and proceduresAssists regional management in the selection of new dealer points. Assists in the completion of market representation assignments.Adheres to reporting and control requirements to ensure efficient and informative communication with regional management.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSReports to: Director, Regional OperationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAININGBachelors degree in Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent directly related work experienceMinimum three years similar level and related automotive wholesale experienceKNOWLEDGEBasic knowledge and understanding of commercial truck dealership operations, sales, marketing, sales prospecting, advertising, vehicle allocation/inventory control, sales training, and business managementSKILLS & ABILITIESProficient in Microsoft Office applications and with smart communication technologyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong sales motivation and techniqueAnalytical and organizational skillsPHYSICAL STANDARDSThe employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. Position requires occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of files, equipment, reports or records, typically weighing 5 lbs. or less. Requires safely operating a motor vehicle in the completion of job responsibilities, loading and unloading work files from the vehicle, etc.Requires extensive travel including driving, typically 50 – 75% time, and overnight stays.MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTABILITIESInterprets and executes policies that typically affect subordinate organizational units. Recommends modifications to operating policies.Responsible for managing staff function or heads a centralized functional activity. Accomplishes results through lower levels of supervision or through experienced exempt levels of employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.Monitors work operations on a daily basis and actively assists, or provides direction to, subordinates as required. May perform, especially in staff or professional groups, ongoing tasks of organizational units. May function as an advisor on all projects and tasks assigned to the organizational units under supervision.Frequent contacts with inter-organizational and outside customer representatives at various management levels concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or contracts. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations.Pay scale for this position is between $92,161 and $117,505. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
