Senior Staff Engineer – Project Engineer

PARIKH Consultants, Inc. is currently seeking an Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering, with a MS in geotechnical engineering preferred.Primary Responsibilities:
Conducting geotechnical field investigations, including field drilling, site reconnaissance, marking exploration locations, obtaining required permits, and coordinating with the vendors.Reviewing boring logs and preparing data in gINT.Performing engineering analyses based on available data.Preparing technical memoranda and reports under the supervision of the Project Engineer or Project Manager.Requirements:
Proficient in communication with clients and team members.Attention to detail.Self-starter and initiator.Able to work independently and in a team setting.Flexibility in traveling to project sites and other offices.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).A valid California driver’s license.Experience with field drilling.General geotechnical engineering analysis experience, such as foundation design, liquefaction analysis, slope stability, settlement evaluation, retaining wall design, or pavement design, is a plus.Salary will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
