AsstrA invites you to join our ambitious team as a Country Sales Manager at our branch in Houston!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Searching and Attracting new clients;Be a leader for our regional US Sales team and also our external agents;Develop our Customer portfolio across the US, with a Hands-On mentality;Effective coordination of the whole sales activities within the region and ensuring that sales goals are achieved - managing your own Customers as well as supervising the activity of your sales team;Creating a motivated and supportive work environment and promoting the full potential of each employee within the team;Hiring, mentoring and coaching of sales teamDevelop Network of independent sales agentsDevelop a strategic orientation for the US market, considering key account development, sales analysis and forecasted growth;Visiting customers Onsite and consulting them on relevant trade lanes and markets;Building and expanding long-term relationships with the existing Customers and new business;Cooperation with AsstrA across the globe;Development & Control of individual KPI targets - personal sales targets and team sales targets.REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years experience in sales within freight forwarding industry, with a broad knowledge of most transport modes;Ideally a standing book of business;Deep understanding of the US market (main industries on the Customer side which might be interested in freight forwarding services - both import and export with the US);Extensive experience in handling major corporate accounts (Key Account Management clients);Comprehensive experience in collaborating with ocean carriers (air carriers) to negotiate contractual rates aligned with current business volumes, and resolving operational issues;Experience in mentoring and training newcomers;Team management experience;Exceptional problem solving, communicative skills;Leadership skills to guide and inspire your team;Proactivity and responsibility;Ability to work both individually and in a team.WE OFFER:
