Prestige Wine Imports Corp. is the exclusive importer of a distinguished and diverse portfolio of high-quality Italian wines sourced from the Italian Dolomites, Tuscany, Puglia, Veneto, and Sicily, to name a few. Headquartered in NYC, we have an available opportunity for an experienced regional manager to join our team in the Central Division with a complex focus on the midwestern states - IL/IN/MN/ND/SD/WI. The ideal person will have a genuine interest in wine, a strong sense of ethics and preferably excellent knowledge of both off and on-premise sales.

Position Overview:

* Regional or State Manager of Sales for PWI will have Sales management responsibility for building the entire portfolio of PWI products in a specific geographic area, travel is required for multi state regions as well as flexible hours.* Reports to VP of Sales and depending on the geography, may or may not have direct reports (e.g. Market Managers).* This sales leader will focus on improving performance through:- Driving distributor and PWI sales team performance.

- Executing against new distribution and promotional programs within National Account universe (both Retail and On

Premise.

- Effectively utilize cross-functional resources (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain).

- Optimizing promotional budgets and brand investments. Driving distributor and PWI sales team performance.

Responsibilities:

* Achieve assigned sales (depletions) and distribution objectives across PWI portfolio and measure performance results against annual plan objectives.* Effectively motivate, lead and hold accountable PWI sales personnel in order to successfully achieve sales and distribution objectives as well as develop organizational talent.* Partner with distributor management to set and achieve sales goals to include volume (shipments and depletions), revenue and distribution through effective price and program execution.* Facilitate effective communication with distributor management to ensure achievement of goals and objectives.* Grow and foster professional relationships with key accounts in region which result in improved distribution, velocity and volume.* Provide senior management with accurate and timely information necessary to improve business, including but not limited to competitive pricing, promotions, sales trends, new products in the market.

Performance Measures:

* Volume (shipments, depletions), Net Revenue, Share growth, Operating Expense budget* Execution of national customer and distributor program goals* Annual distribution targets in on-premise and retail channels* Recruiting and building a strong team, contributing to a motivated Sales culture* Strong 360 feedback (distributors, accounts, cross-functional partners, team members)

Preferred Location:

* Major market within geographical area

Skill Set:

* Minimum 3-5 years beverage/alcohol sales experience.* Wine Education Credentials (CSW/WSET) a plus.* Enthusiastic team member who can successfully achieve results as an individual contributor and through others.* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* Intellectual horsepower (analytical and strategic).* Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills (high EQ).* Influencer (both internally and externally with demonstrated ability to persuade others towards an idea or goal).* Negotiation skills (proven ability to seek and close the right deals).* Complex problem-solver (create and evaluate options then execute).* Innovative and creative thinking.* Resourceful (stretches team members and available resources with a sense of urgency).
