This role offers the flexibility to work from home, within proximity to our San Mateo office location.

The RoleThis position is responsible for the definition, design, and implementation of display and touch technologies, including working closely with display vendors, silicon vendors, and internal hardware teams to specify and verify camera displays.

What You Will DoWork closely with members from the Mechanical and Firmware/Software Engineering teams to assure best design trade-offs.Investigate, study, and introduce new designs.Develop system concepts for high-volume products that are designed for manufacturability.Work closely with our development partners, including managing technical assignments.Develop documentation and processes to ensure high product quality.Perform bench level debug and performance testing for both early development and sustaining product support.Perform optical and touch characterization of displays.Work independently and with little direction in a fast-paced multitasking environment.Take great pride and ownership in designs produced.Skills We’re Excited AboutBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.5+ years experience in hardware development.Proven successful track record in display and touch technology implementation.A system thinker with the ability to contribute to a platform design.Ability to define, set-up, and execute display metrics testing.Familiarity with the design process from concept through board development and system integration.Hands-on experience with bring up and troubleshooting of boards and systems.Low cost portable consumer electronics design experience.Ability to work cross-functionally, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Results and deadline driven.Why Work With Us?Create your own destiny.

Actual pay within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including your residence location and prior work experience.
