What You'll Do
• Plan and Conduct Design Thinking Workshops: Define workshop objectives, create workshop agenda and define/design workshop activities and supporting materials for a workshop audience that includes up to 10 stakeholders and/or users with the primary goals of the workshops being to identify current-state pain points, stakeholder/user goals, priority use cases and future-state opportunities
• Plan and Conduct User Research Studies: Develop comprehensive research plans and corresponding methodologies to gather user insights including 1:1 interviews and survey
• Analyze and Synthesize Data: Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights, high-level user personas and priority use case recommendations as well as inform design decisions
• Create Design Brief: From workshop and research findings, develop a UX design brief detailing the design goals and requirements to serve as a foundation for wireframing, ensuring the resulting designs align with project objectives and meet both stakeholder expectations and user needs.
• Create and Validate Wireframes: Create two low-fidelity wireframes based on the design brief and conduct usability testing with users to solicit feedback. Refine design based on feedback.
• Advocate for the User: Champion the user's perspective and ensure human-centered principles are integrated into the project lifecycle
• Work and Deliver Autonomously: Own and execute the research and design activities/deliverables independently, acting as a utility player within the team
What You'll Bring
• Strong customer research/strategy skills
• Ability to create wireframes
• Experience with conducting usability testing
• Minimum 5+ Years UX research experience
• Strong research skills with a proven track record of conducting user research studies with examples of recent work
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights and research artifacts such as personas and user journey maps
• Ability to translate research findings into high-level design concepts and/or low-fidelity wireframes
• Experience creating and facilitating stakeholder workshops to foster alignment and generate insights/ideas
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to create and adhere to a project plan and drive research/design work independently

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $70 to $80/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
