The Clinical Data Analyst Performance Improvement/Risk Management coordinates the data collection/analysis functions of the Performance Improvement, Risk Management and Compliance Programs for Riverside Health Care Systems, Inc.RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate and assess Performance Improvement reports to assure consistency of activities as they relate to the Performance Improvement Plan.Coordinate further development of departmental dashboards.Coordinate the development of reports to the Board of Trustees as needed.Coordinate activities related to the external data collection, analysis, monitoring and reporting that include CORE measures, IPRO, DOH, HCAPS, etc.Assure timely, accurate data entry to external agencies.Assist in coordinating concurrent review studies performed within the Performance Improvement/Infection Control programs and preparing reports as required.Coordinate program development and/or revision by assessing current practices and recommending presentation and/or reporting formats.Coordinate external occurrence reports and data submission as mandated by New York State Department of Health and the Joint Commission.Maintain and monitor files relevant to occurrence, suit, suspense or claims cases including quarterly loss runs.Assist in developing Policy and Procedure manual.Coordinate hospital-wide activities related to surveys (i.e. JC prep, DOH).Conduct Root Cause Analysis (Internal/External) as needed.Any other duties as assigned by the AVP of Performance Improvement.Qualifications

NYS RN license required.Experience in hospital or health-related field.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical concepts, and Core Measures a plus.Ability to self-learn database management and Internet skills.Proficient in utilizing all health care related web-based programs.
