Responsible for the bi-weekly process of payroll using UKG Dimension and Meditech 6.7, including all withholding, positive payroll and tax report processing.Duties include:Processes bi-weekly payroll using UKG Dimensions and Meditech 6.7.Runs various bi-weekly payroll reports, adjustments and special payments.Prepares payroll checks and direct deposit notices for delivery and distribution.Compiles, distributes and files W-2s.Transmits payroll reports to banks, communicates with banks regarding payroll discrepancies and reviews Positive Pay files daily.Prepares and submits union dues, funds and reports monthly.Confirms and mails bi-weekly withholding checks.Prepares all special check requests.Responds to management and employee questions and inquiries by phone and email.Prepares payroll reports for grant vouchering, and all other reports as requested.Assists with monthly, quarterly and year-end closing as well as annual audits.Performs other related assigned duties.Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of relative experience and a college degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.General Accounting and Payroll knowledge.Hospital experience preferred.NYSNA and 1199 Union experience a plus.Knowledge of Workforce Dimensions preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills required.Proficient in MS Excel.
