We are looking for a
Financial Reporting Manager
to work for our Worthington client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Research and document technical accounting matters and financial disclosure requirements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Monitor and interpret actual results of financial data against budget, perform variance analysis, and provide financial analysis in support of management decision making.
Review of multiple financial statements: Annual and Quarterly Financial Reports, Audited Financial Statements, Form 10-K and/or 10-Q.
Collaborate with FP&A to ensure accurate internal reporting of transactions, and to improve upon the quality of such reporting
Provide analysis of financial trends. Track and analyze key performance indicators communicated externally as well as used for internal analysis. Summarize and report these trends to senior management and external auditors
Participate in the design, execution, and monitoring of internal control activities within the accounting and reporting departments
Manage the execution of special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests, including, but not limited to, financial statement projections, carve-out financial statements, and debt compliance reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
5-7 years of financial reporting experience
Solid knowledge of GAAP
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes
Demonstrated strong leadership skills, high energy, initiative, and creativity
