About the Role:
The Account Executive will be responsible for selling current portfolio of products and services into a defined territory of Enterprise level customer accounts. The primary goal of the Account Executive will be to exceed quota by closing deals with new, existing and prospective customers. This position will be focused on selling technical solutions – cloud/hosted, on premise, managed services and professional service engagements.
What You’ll Do:
Provide leadership to a team on each opportunity drawing from expertise of technical specialists as needed.
Deliver both technical and business case presentations, solutions positioning, technical proof-of-concepts, scoping of customer deployment and integration and post-sale account management that lead to follow-on sales.
Effectively research and profile targeted accounts to develop a business plan.
Manage and effectively control the entire enterprise solution (hardware-software-services) sales cycle.
Develop a strong pipeline and regularly exceed quota requirements, including accurately predicting, reporting and managing forecast.
Manage contacts and opportunities utilizing previous relationships and leads.
May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Interests:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience.
Minimum 8 years of technology sales experience (hardware, software and services).
Experienced in Cloud, Security and Data technologies and services.
Must be skilled at the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within the mid-to-large size business market through cold calls, creative lead generation, personal sales visits and sales presentations.
Documented track record of exceeding annual quota required.
Maintain sales certifications for key technology vendor partners as requested.
Prior experience with the OEM, VAR and/or Technology communities.
Exhibit and demonstrate appropriate business acumen and demeanor in both difficult and relaxed professional environments.
Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
