Our client, a prestigious investment bank,is looking to add a talented Analyst 2 to its team in NYC. The role will focus on the exciting and rapidly evolving sectors of digital assets, high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), and power and energy infrastructure.Analysts assume significant responsibility and are included in all aspects of a transaction from origination to closing. They work on small deal teams, get immediate and direct exposure to senior bankers and senior executive clients, and are responsible for the day-to-day execution tasks of each transaction. The work is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines. Our client offers Analysts the chance to get exposure to high-profile transaction, advance more rapidly and take on more responsibility than at traditional bulge-bracket firms. This is a unique opportunity to help build a rapidly growing investment banking team, while having the backing of a leading SPAC focused financial services Sponsor.

Key Responsibilities:·

Analysis of companies, transaction structures, deal activity, and corporate filings

Process management including buyer / investor interaction due diligence request tracking

Company valuation, and financial performance analysis

Model and / or manage the modeling of complex transaction scenarios

Data analysis using mathematical models and statistical techniques

General research and presentation of findings

Creation of materials for Board meetings, client presentations and due diligence support materials

Create industry specific valuation analyses such as public comps and precedent transactions

Requirements:

1-2 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking with strong experience across M&A, private placements and / or equity capital markets; Blockchain, crypto, digital infrastructure investment banking experience preferred

Additionally, candidates with specific product experience in equity capital markets, private capital raises, or M&A advisory would be strong fits for our client's growing franchise

Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, Economics), Technical Sciences (Engineering, Physics) or Liberal Arts with preference for strong academic record

Strong work ethic, self-motivated and entrepreneurial

Excellent problem solving and analytic ability with strong quantitative / technical skills and attention to detail

Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other industry resources such FactSet and Pitchbook

Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills

Maturity, presence, and poise to take on client-facing responsibilities

US work authorization
