UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital provides many medical services and amenities for our patients and their families and visitors.As part of the UF Health network, patients now get more - more access, more services, more specialized care, improved experiences, faster treatment - and as a result, everyone rises and moves forward together.The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant.QualificationsEducationAssociate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory TherapyIn Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years' experience and:Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) ORRegistered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)Licensure/Certification/RegistrationFL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) ORFL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)BLSACLSSpecial Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience RequiredMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
