The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, life-saving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much moreThere are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health's Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. The Director is a servant-leader with 30 years of UF Health Leesburg experience and is dedicated to the success of her team and the people of her community. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated. The benefit about working here is that you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. Our Cath Labs offer state-of-art technology and medical devices. The Cardiovascular Tech, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a Part-Time, two 12-hour shifts per week position. QualificationsEducation:- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory TherapyLicensure/Certification/Registration:- Either of the following is required in lieu of the required education: - FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification OR - FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Preferred)- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Preferred)- BLS- ACLSSpecial Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
