More than a slogan, we empower our employees to make positive impacts on the communities in which we live and work.Job OverviewStrategically support the VP of Finance, the Financial Services Department and Operations. The goal is to maximize asset value and returns on investment for our owners and equity partners and to provide proactive service support for our senior property teams and customers. This position will support an assigned portfolio of properties (up to 15) and may directly oversee corporate finance and/or accounting associates.ResponsibilitiesStrategicWork with the Corporate Office and Property/Restaurant Operational Leaders to determine opportunities to drive profitability to the assigned properties and portfolios.Evaluate operational metrics to prioritize initiatives that can make the greatest impact across assigned properties.Drive property financial performance through continuous review and monitoring of property results, providing feedback to leadership teams.Support teams focused on shared services, operational performance, compliance, and systems.Support property teams with ROI analysis regarding planned capital expenditures.Monitor compliance requirements for lenders, ground lessors, and franchisors.Provide financial leadership for assigned transitions and new openings.OperationalSupport General Managers and the Operations team with analytics regarding forecasting, cost control, and margin improvement.Evaluate and drive standardization and optimization of processes and systems at each property.Manage partnership relationships between the organization’s various departments, property operations, and ownership groups.Owner CommunicationsEnsure owner management agreement obligations are carried out.Review and understand financial statements delivered to equity partners.QualificationsEducation/Formal TrainingUndergraduate degree required; concentration in Finance or Accounting preferred.Experience5 years of related management experience in finance roles in hospitality with at least 2 years as a Property Director of Finance / Controller.Knowledge/SkillsAbility to influence all levels of the organization.Proven ability in building and sustaining a strong finance team.Strong knowledge in analyzing financial statements and contracts.Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.Strong organizational and project management skills.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
