Our 176-bed acute care facility is fully accredited and includes a 16-bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency.We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment is offered at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient.We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer your questions about treatment options and insurance coverage. The RN provides direct patient care under the direction of the Manager, Outpatient for adults, adolescents, children, and geriatric patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. Responsible for using the Nursing process to effectively manage the Plan of Care for each patient based on appropriate standards, policies, and procedures. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for continuing his/her own professional development to enhance practice and the profession of Nursing. Qualifications

Requirements:Education Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing either through ADN, Diploma or BSN Program.Licensure and certification Required: Current Texas State Registered Nurse licensure. CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.Experience Required: Two years of inpatient psychiatric experience. Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnosis, and intervention with psychiatric patients. Ability to accurately administer medication and monitor side effects. Knowledge of milieu management. Ability to delegate responsibility to others as permitted in the Nurse Practice Act and monitor performance of delegated tasks. Ability to safely implement special treatment procedures.
