This is a remote position.Job Description for Senior AccountantResponsibilities:
Establish and optimize internal bookkeeping processes and workflows
Perform quality control on junior accountants’ work
Assist in onboarding new clients and junior bookkeepers
Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Contribute to the development of best practices for bookkeeping in the healthcare sector
Facilitate smooth operational flow as the company scales
Requirements:
Proven experience in senior accounting roles, preferably in the healthcare sector
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Expertise in QuickBooks, Xero, and other relevant accounting software
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
Ability to establish and improve financial processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
4 hours a day, flexible hoursOnce a week 1-hour catch up within Eastern business hourIMPORTANT!!
