ENABLE your future through light.We are presently seeking a Plant Manager that will be responsible foroverseeing all aspects of the plant's operations, including production,maintenance, quality control, supply chain management, and safety. Therole requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of manufacturingprocesses, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuousimprovement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.Key responsibilities:Leadership & Management:Provide leadership and direction to all plant departments, ensuringalignment with company goals and objectives.Manage and mentor a team of department heads, supervisors, and otherstaff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, includingproduction efficiency, quality, and cost control.Production & Operations:Oversee daily production activities, ensuring that manufacturing targets aremet in terms of output, quality, and delivery schedules.Implement and monitor production schedules, adjusting as needed toaccommodate changes in demand, materials availability, and equipmentperformance.Ensure compliance with all manufacturing standards and protocols, includingISO certifications and other industry-specific regulations.Quality Control:Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that all products meetor exceed customer specifications and industry standards.Lead efforts to identify and resolve production issues that affect productquality, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.Safety & Compliance:Ensure the plant operates in compliance with all health, safety, andenvironmental regulations.Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols andconducting regular safety audits and training sessions.Supply Chain & Inventory Management:Oversee the procurement of raw materials and supplies, ensuring timelydelivery to support production schedules.Manage inventory levels to balance production needs with cost control,minimizing excess inventory while avoiding stockouts.Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency, reducewaste, and lower operating costs.Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvementmethodologies to streamline operations and improve performance.Financial Management:Develop and manage the plant's budget, ensuring alignment with financialgoals and company objectives.Monitor and report on key financial metrics, such as cost per unit,yield, and overall profitability.Customer Relations:Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure customersatisfaction, addressing any issues related to product quality,delivery, or service.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, BusinessAdministration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, M.S.) ispreferredExperience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor and or optics/photonicsmanufacturing, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.Proven experience in managing large-scale manufacturing operations with afocus on process improvement and operational excellence.Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, andindustry standards.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuousimprovement.Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvementmethodologies.Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment.Certifications:Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related disciplinesare a pl s.Work Environment:The role is based in a semiconductor/optic manufacturing facility,requiring regular interaction with production equipment, staff, and otherdepartments.
