Job Description

SharePoint Developer candidate will have a solid understanding of SharePoint development, including design, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint solutions. Responsible for customizing and enhancing our SharePoint environment to meet the needs of our organization.

Requirements

Design and Development: Develop custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other development tools. Create and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.

Customization and Branding: Customize SharePoint sites to align with company branding and user requirements. Implement custom themes, master pages, and page layouts.

Integration: Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and applications. Develop and maintain integration points using APIs, web services, and other technologies.

Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SharePoint solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, perform regular updates, and ensure optimal performance and security.

User Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and administrators. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all SharePoint development and customization activities.

Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless implementation and operation of SharePoint solutions.

Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint features, updates, and best practices. Ensure all developments adhere to industry standards and best practices for SharePoint development.

Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2013/2016/2019.

Strong experience with SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and PowerShell.

Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.

Experience with Nintex or other workflow automation tools.

Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

Understanding of SQL Server, Active Directory, and IIS.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Other Duties as assigned

Preferred Skills:

Certifications: Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or similar certifications.

Additional Experience: Experience with Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Azure services.

Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
