OverviewSign On Bonus Eligible: $12,000 with a 3 yr work commitmentExpected pay for this position is $37.99 - $49.72/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.Midnight shift covers 2 nearby OSF ERs on this shift, travel to other location if ER patient needs US.POSITION SUMMARY: Performs and records two-dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional patient data. Completes patient intakes via collection of medical history and answers patient questions regarding imaging procedures. Confers with providers on the results of imaging tests and collaborates to determine if additional images are required. QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: N/A Experience: Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.Licensure/ Certification: Registered as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered as a Vascular Technologist with the Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI). One specific certification required (Abdomen - AB, Breast - BR, Fetal Echocardiography - FE, Obstetrics and Gynecology - OB/GYN, or Registered Vascular Technologist - RVT) to be determined by OSF Entity need. Based on specific OSF entity requirements must obtain an additional certification within 1 year. Specific certification required is based on OSF entity need and must come from either ARDMS, CCI, NTQR, or the Fetal Medicine Foundation.Other skills/ knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
