Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver (CDL Class A with Hazmat)

Overview:
As a key member of our team, the Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in our operations, handling both warehouse and delivery responsibilities under the guidance of the St. Joseph Operations Manager. This role involves managing inventory, ensuring accurate product shipments, and executing deliveries while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations (75%):Inventory Management: Label, restock, count, and organize inventory to maintain a streamlined operation. Engage in LEAN processes to keep our workspace clean and efficient.Shipping Standards: Accurately pick, pull, prepare, package, and palletize products from shelves in compliance with sales orders, making sure they arrive on time and in perfect condition.Documentation: Prepare and review shipping documents including packing slips and invoices to ensure accurate order processing.Safely operate a forklift to transport pallets throughout the warehouse.Delivery Driving (25%):
Deliver and Receive with Precision: Safely transport a variety of products to and from farms, veterinary clinics and other locations such as third-party retailers, upholding our high standards of service and reliability.Drive with Expertise: Operate a semi-truck in compliance with CDL and DOT regulations, route planning, pre and post trip inspections, and reporting maintenance needs.Flexibility & Reliability: Serve as a backup driver when necessary to cover vacations and unplanned absences, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to team success.Customer Engagement: Meet customers at pick-up and drop-off locations, provide a high standard of customer service to enhance their overall experience. Represent Armor Animal Health and be the face of the organization from the customer's perspective.What We're Looking For:
Experience & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 1-3 years of experience driving semi-trucks. CDL Class A is required, with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required within 60 days of hire.Technical Proficiency: Forklift certification preferred, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with computers, ERP systems, and electronic logs.Adaptability and Self-Reliance: Exhibit the ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently, with minimal supervision.Physical & Environmental Conditions:
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver a pallet jack with loads up to 2,500 pounds, and climb ladders.Must be able to sit for long periods of time when performing relief driver responsibilities, walk on concrete floors, and stand at a desk while using a computer.
