This position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division.

What You'll Work On
Coordinate timely and accurate flow of materials from warehouse inventory to desired areasCoordinate timely accurate flow of finished products to support shipments to customers and other destinationsResponsible for loading and unloading of material with the use of a forkliftVia use of Cambar radio frequency inventory system, the employee stores, picks, or assembles finished product for shipmentUnderstand and properly utilize ship orders and associated warehouse paperwork and RF terminals for shipping/receiving finished product.Maintain proper FIFO flow of finished products. Includes operation of a forklift truck with a push-pull attachment (reach forklift)Store, pick or assemble finished goods within the warehouse, verifying the item number, quantity, release status, and lot number. Check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills or other pertinent documentation to assure conformity and accuracyUtilize knowledge of finished product nomenclature and proceduresMaintain cleanliness of work area and of the finished goods warehouseMaintain accurate records and reconciles inventory errorsAll other tasks as assigned by management to meet the needs of the businessRequired Qualifications
High school diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications
Previous Fork-Lift experience
