Job Responsibilities include of a RNAC:
Demonstrable knowledge of state and federal regulations.
Ensure accuracy of all sections of Multiple Data Set (MDS) coding to maximize company reimbursement consistent with the levels of treatment delivered and required for appropriate patient / resident care (CMI).
Ensure accuracy of clinical paperwork (assessment and accompanying documentation) to maximize company reimbursement consistent with the levels of treatment delivered and required for appropriate patient / resident care.
Nursing Educator: Serve as a primary trainer to the nursing department to ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and thorough. This requires high levels of in-person interfacing with both residents and employees.
Nurse Management: Serves as a key member of the nursing leadership team to clinically manage the unit in order to maximize patient-centered. outcomes. This includes engagement in leadership standups and influence within interdisciplinary teams.
Case management with managed care. (maximize therapy and nursing services provided to residents in order to maximize patient-centered outcomes)
Manage clinical and financial record keeping and dissemination of these records to appropriate payers.
Take joint ownership of care conferences with social workers.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
Active Pennsylvania RN License.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Experience: Previous long term care experience in MDS.
