Job Title: Sales Manager Location: Norwalk, CT

Overview

Daisy is a smart home automation company that seamlessly integrates all your devices from optimizing lighting to motorizing shades in the home. Reporting to the Sales Leader, the Sales Manager will be responsible for generating outside sales within the high end residential, commercial, restaurant, hospitality, multiple dwelling, and direct-to-consumer markets. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in the custom integration field, can build professional trade partner relations and is driven to always meet or exceed their sales target while ensuring a positive client experience. The ideal candidate will be very familiar with the residential construction industry and trade partners such as architects, interior designers, builders, electricians and others, and have experience nurturing and building these relationships to generate sales.

Duties & Responsibilities

· The Sales Manager will sell the following products/systems to new and existing Davco clients:

Audio systems - Whole home audio and surround sound

Video systems – Video distribution systems, home theaters, TVs, streaming media

Shading - Motorized shading, Lutron

Lighting control - Lutron

Network/Wi-Fi systems and services

Surveillance products

Home automation systems - Crestron, Control4, Savant, Elan

· Driven, self motivated, energetic and a go getter focused on achieving targets and driving sales.

· Position reports to the Sales leader.

· Develop sales plans specifying goals in vertical markets as well as defining key milestones and timelines to support broader goals.

· Provide end user training to customers.

Additional Requirements

· Minimum BS degree, or high school, technical degrees and equivalent work experience. · 5+ years of experience designing, installation, or selling audio video technologies. · Must have previous experience in positions of responsibility in client sales, new lead prospecting, and marketing strategies. · D-tools SI experience is highly preferred. · Proven record of A/V sales exceeding $1.0 MM annually. · Hands on experience with demonstrating structured cabling systems, surveillance systems, audio/video systems, network systems, lighting control systems, automation systems. · Strong client interface and verbal/written communications required. · Time management and sales coordination skills required. · Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned region (travel may be required to other client designated areas as agreed upon with employer).

Work Schedule

· Monday - Friday; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with a 30 min meal break. · Overtime may be required from time to time to support business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

· Total potential compensation range: $50,000 in base plus commissions annually including base; specific salary will be assessed based on candidate’s experience and skill set.

· This is an exempt status role.
