DescriptionProject Manager/ Agile Scrum Master - Federal Sector Manhattan StrategyGroup(MSG)in Bethesda, MDis seeking a Project Manager/Agile Scrum Master (PMP) to support a Federal contract for the Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Chief Information Office (OCIO). The project's purpose is to support the development and implementation of multiple existing internal and external DOL websites. As one of multiple PMs, you will help DOL achieve mission success. This position is remote.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and driving project plans for client implementations within established timelines.
Creates, manages, and tracks project documents, including, but not limited to: project schedules, including estimates versus actuals, detailed project plans, scope documents, cost estimates, resource plans, risk and issues logs, and status reportsDrive outcomes via detailed follow-ups and meetings holding all parties accountable for meeting project milestones on agreed-upon dates.Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers as needed regarding project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting, and interfacing with stakeholders.Escalate issues promptly and manage changes in the plan by gaining approval from workstream leaders and the governance team with follow-up communication to all key stakeholders.Drives decisions, including difficult tradeoffs that may be needed between resources, schedule, and functionality.Creates and maintains relationships across the organization.Demonstrates leadership qualities including flexibility and adaptability to changes in roles and responsibilities as required.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or other business/economic/technical discipline10 + years of project management experience3 + years experience leading Agile development teams1 + year of experience managing COTS implementation of a Cloud-based, CMS project.3 + years of CMS Project Management experienceStrong writing, analytical, and presentation skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational and task management skillsAbility to manage time effectively and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.U.S. citizenship required.Active PMP required.EEO Statement:
