Position Summary: As Senior QA/QC Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our software products. You'll collaborate closely with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to verify that our applications meet rigorous standards and adhere to best practices throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough testing of web and software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.Collaborate with developers to understand system architecture, design, and functionality.Verify that software components adhere to coding standards and follow established processes.Document and track defects, providing detailed information for resolution.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Ensure compliance with federal agency-specific guidelines and security protocols.Assist in the creation and maintenance of test data sets.Provide timely feedback to project teams regarding quality issues.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.8 + years of experience in QA/QC roles, specifically related to web and software application development.4 + years of experience supporting web or software application development for a US federal Agency. Experience working with DOL, ED, HHS is highly desirable.Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.Familiarity with various testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, and gray-box testing).Proficient in using automation tools such as QTP (QuickTest Professional), TestNG, Junit and Selenium for test script development and execution.Familiarity with security testing concepts.Understanding of accessibility testing (Section 508 compliance).Understanding of the SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.U.S. Citizenship requiredSecurity Clearance: Active Public trust or,must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
