DescriptionManhattan Strategy Group (MSG) in Bethesda, MD is committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients, including U.S. federal agencies like the Department of Labor (DOL), the Department of Education (ED), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).The SharePoint Developer will have extensive experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, MVC) and experience in full life-cycle software development. This includes participation in requirements gathering, application and database design, system documentation, writing and unit-testing efficient code, and deployment.This position is remote in the United States.Responsibilities:The SharePoint Developer will work on a U.S. Dept of Education contract to analyze, assess, and document the existing SharePoint environment, maintain the environment, and provide assistance to SharePoint users. The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of .NET, SharePoint, SQL, and mobile development.Analyzing the existing SharePoint environment and documenting the tools, features, and processes currently in place.Suggesting areas for improvements.Providing assistance to staff on using SharePoint and Office365.Extracting data and developing reports from information in SQL databases.Developing content for user guides and tip sheets for training SharePoint users.Developing prototypes for native and hybrid mobile applications.Working collaboratively with project managers, business analysts, designers, and other programmers in developing solutions for the client.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.8+ years of experience using SharePoint, Office 365, ASP.Net, and SQL.4+ years experience supporting US federal agency projects.Security Clearance:
