The Group Product Manager will be responsible for leading and executing the overall strategy and financial performance of a significant group of products. Leads a team of Product Managers to identify market needs, build product growth strategies, and manage the overall product lifecycle to achieve revenue and profit growth objectives.Works cross-functionally to affect change across all levels of Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Pricing, and Executive Functions. This role will report to the Product Line Manager.As a Group Product Manager, you will be responsible for:Setting the product offering for the market and working to shape demand towards products with high financial earningsDeveloping effective price maintenance strategies to capture the price realization needed to recover costs and improve profitabilitySecuring market data, analyzing and maintaining complete competitive analysis information and market intelligence files for the product line to determine and prioritize customer and market needs and wants for productsPlanning, organizing and controlling the introduction of new productsWorking with Product Line VP of Sales, Sales Managers and other appropriate personnel (Technical Managers, National Account Managers, etc.) to develop sound relationships with customers to obtain a better understanding of customer product requirements so as to provide a basis for anticipating and satisfying customer product needsContinuously reviewing product line integrity and reliabilityWorking with Supply Chain to maintain a demand forecast on a monthly basis.Meeting established finished goods turnsManaging a team of product managers to effectively implement and maintain individual product lifecycle strategiesDeveloping career roadmaps and development plans for each direct reportQualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:Have a bachelor's degree inBusiness Management, Finance, Chemistry, Sales or Marketing. MBA PreferredPossess 4-10 years' experience in product managementHave experience in building a team andmanaging other Product ManagersHave the ability to create and effectively present information to top managementand/or Boards of DirectorsBe proficient with computer-based applications, including Microsoft Office ApplicationsBe able to travel up to 20%;international travel will be required but minimalHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsHave strong collaboration skillsIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:SAP experienceExperience in the printing ink fieldPower BI experienceAdditional Information
