We have a very competitive starting pay plus a shift differential when applicable. The person in this role will specialize in the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink. As an Ink Maker/Ink Tech you will be responsible for:Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inksUnderstanding proper mixing procedures and raw materialsMonitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjust as neededFollowing procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill ratesFollowing procedures to filter, package and label inksMaking QC adjustments as instructedWeighing quantities of raw materials Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner Packaging finished productOperating a forkliftQualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:Have a High school diploma or G.E.D.Have previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 monthsHave Fork lift experienceBe able to lift up to 50 lbs.Have basic math, communications and mechanical logic skillsBe capable to complete multiple tasksDemonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs.In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:Understanding of 5S workplaceKnowledge of TPMAbility to work 12-hour shiftsAbility to work overtime, weekendsAdditional InformationWe offer a competitive salary starting at $21.50 per hour with nightshift differential of $1.50 and a weekend differential of $2.00 for an opportunity to make up to $24.00 per hour.
