We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:Running batches of ink at proper mill settingsPackaging finished product in various containers and applying labelsCleaning and maintaining machines to TPM StandardsLearning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activitiesWeigh-Up Batches: Following proper process order of addition. Shifting between auto and manual stepsMix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOP's Mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standardsCreating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing timesCanningOperating the following: pump filter equipment, and forkliftActing as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording dataCompleting scheduled maintenance and utilizing troubleshooting procedures.Helping with repacksQualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:Have a high school diploma or GED equivalentHave 3 months of related work experienceDemonstrate good math and basic computer skillsPay attention to detailBe reliable to work assigned shiftBe flexible to work overtime as requiredHave a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) backgroundBe able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teamsHave good attendance and punctualityBe able to lift up to 50 lbsIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:Forklift experience, but we can train youMixing, mill, and pump filter industry backgroundPrevious experience in the ink industryAdditional InformationWe offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
