What you will be doing:

Identify potential customers and present complex energy solutions that provide peace of mind.Help the commercial team achieve and exceed sales and growth targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.Challenge the status quo within businesses by introducing new and innovative energy solutions that increase revenue and support sustainability credentials.Generate leads and create new business opportunities with potential customers.Drive sales through partnerships with industry partners and participating resellers.Conduct preliminary assessments of sites for their Demand Response potential.Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.Close sales and achieve sales targets.Accurately report on sales progress.Develop and maintain consultative relationships with the client base.Participate in seminars, trade shows, and other marketing opportunities.Experience you will need:

A background in sales with a demonstrable history of success in sales.Knowledge of ERCOT energy and ancillary service markets.5+ years of experience in a relevant sector, ideally demand response, electrical systems, and/or power generation.A degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant disciplines may be considered.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in relationship building among diverse stakeholders.Strong quantitative and analytical capability, both technical and commercial.Professionalism, being articulate, innovative, and client-service oriented.Self-motivated individual with integrity, capable of working both in the office and remotely.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ambition to develop as a market-leading sales professional.
