Quality Assurance Engineering Lead

Overview:
The Quality Assurance Engineer Lead will be responsible for leading a team of testers to ensure the quality of software products and systems. A lead will be given minimal direction and work independently, providing updates to their manager on a timely basis. They will be responsible for some mentoring and training Quality Assurance Engineers.Duties:Participates in reviewing business documentation and specifications for all applications under deployment or consideration, to determine its intended functionality to assist in testing.Execute manual test scripts with reliable and comprehensive test results.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the portals.Works closely with business, Project and Product Managers, Development and Infrastructure teams to understand system flows, processes and back end architecture.Tests applications, upgrades, patches, customizations, as specified by requirements.Identify bugs and potential problems within the software.Conduct regular system checks to ensure the smooth functioning of the portals.Create clear and concise defect tickets with reproducible steps using the ticketing system.Create and execute test cases for our various applications and products which include, but are not limited to; Website, Android/iOS platform.Update and maintain test cases to keep the test suite current.Design and execute manual and automated test cases to identify and report software defects across various functionalities.Document test cases, procedures, and findings clearly and concisely.Ensure all processes adhere to industry standards and company policies.Regularly update and maintain accurate system documentation.Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.Perform other duties as assigned.Education:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.Experience:4 plus years testing experience.Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Zephyr preferred.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes.Knowledge of software testing lifecycles.Familiarity with various testing tools and techniques.Additional Information:REQUIREMENTS:Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role. Excellent knowledge of quality assurance principles, techniques and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Manage personal priorities and work with minimal supervision and direction. Resourceful, able to manage multiple projects at once and shifting priorities and responsibilities with limited supervision. Self-motivated and passionate about providing an excellent customer experience. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business units. *Salary range $80,000 - $90,000/per year based on experience
