Our Sales & Events Manager is a multifaceted position focused on sales, event coordination, and guest relations. This position is responsible for ensuring positive guest interactions, managing event logistics, and supporting various aspects of hotel operations, including room blocks, merchandise, and entertainment.

Responsibilities:

Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.Handles sensitive information in a confidential manner.Represents the company effectively by developing comprehensive knowledge of its offeringsBuilds relationships with influencers, journalists, and media outlets.Close sales and all aspects of sales management.Conducts tours with guests (weddings, private events, corporate events, etc.)Assist guests in decorating the events as needed.Executes events with assistance from the Event Coordinators.Ensure each event has the appropriate audio/visual equipment as requested.Manages room blocks for multiple properties.Look out for the safety of our staff and guests.Ensure that our guests enjoy their stay with us.Assists with Entertainment at multiple properties.Engages with local businesses and partners with local businesses to create hotel stay packages.Places order and tracks inventory with Shopify.Coordinates with the Finance team to supply gift cards.Places orders for branded stationary items (parking passes, key card envelopes, housekeeping cards, notepads and pens, menus etc.)Ensures merchandise is stocked and on display at multiple locations.Participate in weekly Group Impact Meetings and BEO Meetings, addressing issues and concerns for stakeholder groups relative to the wedding segment.Daily use of Catering and CRM software to book event space and create BEO's.Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of sales experience within similar industry preferred.Minimum of 1 year's experience in working social events preferred.Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.Must be very flexible with your schedule.Weekends and certain holidays are required.Ability to travel as needed.
