You will measure, benchmark, and play a critical part in continuously optimizing key user journeys including, but not limited to freemium and trial to paid experiences, sales assisted purchasing, and in-product onboarding. You will partner closely with fellow analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand the end-to-end customer journey related to these various experiences. You will then use this knowledge to analyze performance and identify and size opportunities for growth and optimization across channels and experiences.You will excel as a trusted advisor, creative thinker, and exceptional problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to structure and navigate complex problems and processes. You can simultaneously think strategically and take a hands-on approach to deep dive into our data to deliver high level or detailed well-structured models and analysis depending on the business need. You will succeed by combining analytical insight, technical proficiency, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate and influence your key partners and cross-functional teams.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Growth Analytics.ResponsibilityLead analytics and experimentation analysis for key customer acquisition paths including free and trial experiences, sales assisted purchasing, and in product upgrade flowsBuild, maintain, and monitor dashboards that track experiences to spot trends, quickly understand performance, and ensure no adverse impact after releasesApply business acumen and analytics techniques to datasets related to or impacted by digital experiences to identify areas of opportunity and size potential impactConduct in-depth analysis of cohort performance and incrementally tied to in product experiments and updatesForecast how experience changes will impact our business performanceOwn experimentation roadmap for key new customer journeys: identify and prioritize opportunities with product managers, write test charters, and provide test analysis and recommendations to stakeholdersPartner with cross-functional teams to enhance existing analytics models, pipelines and dashboards, create additional metrics, reports or visualization based on evolving business needsJob DesignationHybrid:Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What you bringBasicBachelor’s in a quantitative field (Statistics, Finance, Math, CS, or related) with 5+ years of relevant experience in customer behavior analytics or Advanced Degree in a quantitative field with 3+ years of relevant experience3+ years experience using SQL with hands-on exposure to database structures and principles, data models and dimensional models2+ years hands-on experience with Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics or equivalent web and product analytics tools3+ years hands-on experience in A/B testing and experimentation with history of arriving at conclusive resultsExperience with Statistics concepts and analysis, e.g., hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design, etcExperience utilizing both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniquesExperience building dashboards in Data Studio, Tableau, or equivalentPreferredAdvanced spreadsheet modeling skills including pivot tables and complex formulasExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex data analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior leadershipComfortable with loosely defined requirements where you exercise your analytical skills to collaborate with the rest of the team to build solutionsKnowledge and hands-on experience with statistical testing such as A/B, multivariate, and Bayesian testingExperience optimizing product experiences to achieve world class conversion and retention ratesFamiliarity with software sales pipeline and methods for measurement and optimizationGood familiarity with the principles of data science and data engineeringAttention to detail with focus on data quality, data consistency and criticalityAdvanced data analysis skills – e.g., database query construction, data warehousing, forecasting, data mining and experience in business analysisExposure to big data platforms – Snowflake, Redshift, Azure, Matillion, Alteryx, DBT, etcWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $128,400.00 - $200,200.00 base salaryIllinois and Colorado: $123,800.00 - $170,225.00 base salaryWashington and New York (including NYC metro area): $123,800.00 - $176,625.00 base salaryWashington DC: $128,400.00 - $176,625.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.Global benefits provide options for the following:Paid Time Off: earned time off, as well as paid company holidays based on regionPaid Parental Leave: take up to six months off with your child after birth, adoption or foster care placementFull Health Benefits Plans: options for 100% employer paid and minimum employee contribution health plans from day one of employmentRetirement Plans: select retirement and pension programs with potential for employer contributionsLearning and Development: options for coaching, online courses and education reimbursementsCompassionate Care Leave: paid time off following the loss of a loved one and other life-changing eventsLife at DocuSignWorking hereDocusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
