Overview
This position administers, develops, and supports our ESRI GIS systems to enhance company efficiency, regulatory compliance, responsiveness, and competitive advantage. It also partners with business departments, vendors, and developers to define requirements, research new technologies, explore opportunities, and improve process efficiency.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):Supports the technology objectives of the company by designing, analyzing, developing, implementing, upgrading, testing, troubleshooting, administering, and supporting our ESRI GIS systemsPartners with business departments, vendors, and developers to translate business needs into technology solutionsDevelops a solid understanding of applications being supportedIncreases knowledge of Information Technology methodologies, tools, and techniquesDraws on analytical experience to develop a variety of solutions for moderately complex problemsAdheres to department values, policies, procedures, methodologies, and security and / or confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
MinimumBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience2+ years’ experience in ESRI GIS toolsExperience with database design and SQL queryingStrong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skillsAnalytical and organization skills
PreferredMajor in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, or similar technical degreeExperience with ESRI APR (including branch versioning), UPDM data model, Utility Network, and ESRI Mobile solutionsExperience with Programming or Scripting languagesExperience with Web Services (WCF, WebAPI, or REST)Project management experience a plus
