Under broad supervision, the Communications Manager has a wide degree of creativity and latitude to design, oversee, and implement communication strategies and plans that support key initiatives for the Pay Equity Project. Individuals in this role will develop and execute communication plans, manage internal and external communications, ensure consistent messaging across various platforms, and play a key role in crisis communication management.

The Communication Manager is expected to demonstrate strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while fostering positive and professional relationships with stakeholders, including Commissioners Court staff, ARPA committee members, department heads, key personnel within the departments, and vendors.Duties and Responsibilities:Communication Management:

Develops and implements effective communication plans, strategies, and campaigns to promote the goals and initiatives set by the Human Resources department in support of the Pay Equity Project.Content Creation:

Produces high-quality content for various platforms, including newsletters, websites, social media, project videos, presentations, and marketing materials, ensuring consistent messaging and maintaining the Pay Equity Projects' voice and tone across all communication channels.Social Media Management:

Collaborates with the Manager, of Communication Pay Equity Project to manage and oversee the Pay Equity Projects' social media strategy, including content creation, scheduling, and engagements with various departments, the Office of County Administrator, and Commissioners Court staff.Collaboration:

Collaborates with internal team members and key department personnel to develop and implement communication strategies ensuring alignment with goals set by Human Resources, Office of County Administration, and Commissioners Court.Analysis & Reporting:

Tracks, monitors, and analyzes the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns; provides detailed reports and insights to leadership to inform decision- making and optimize future initiatives.Other Duties:

Work Environment and Physical Demands:This role involves operating within an office and outdoor setting, implying that a significant portion of the tasks and responsibilities will take place outside of traditional indoor office spaces.
