This position will remain open for application based onbusiness need, which may be before or after the 3-day posting window.Job DescriptionPosition OverviewAs a Director, Renewable Project Management, you will lead a team ofProject Managers across a region or multiple projects while providingtechnical guidance to business development efforts and support advancedplanning, development, contracting and construction for onshore renewablegeneration projects. You will be responsible for managing projects fromadvanced development through construction to commercial operation and supportthe technical needs of projects in development.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and manage team of Project Managers focused onthe successful execution of renewable energy projects.Prepare, negotiate, and manage EPC Contracts.Manage construction permitting activities and ensure that all requiredconstruction permits have been obtained.Manage and monitor construction activities for multiple project sites.Ensure that the site construction activities adhere to establishedconstruction protocols.Review site layouts, micro-siting, and civil design of projects.Lead coordination of development and construction efforts with interconnectingutilities.Lead coordination and support of internal project financing and accountingefforts.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering or othertechnical disciplines.10+ years of progressive project management experience.5-10 years of project management functional area experience - scope, cost,schedule, and risk management areas of focusThorough understanding and implementation of projects in accordance withcontracts.Excellent solution-seeking, teamwork, leadership, and communicationskills which extend across all organizational and management levels.Demonstrated ability in leadership of multi-disciplined teams of projectmanagers, engineers, and outside consultants.Experience in development and execution of complex project schedules.Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 or other advanced scheduling software.Able to travel up to 20% of the time.Experience managing team of direct reportsEligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visasponsorship now or in the future.Preferred SkillsMaster's degree in business, Engineering is a plus.Power industry, renewable energy industry experience preferred.Specific experience in transmission or linear project development andconstruction a plus.Construction field experience preferred.Construction Building License holder is a plus.Experience managing team of direct reportsSalary Range$174,000 - $190,000Eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), bonus, paid time off, etc.Invenergy LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
