Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the design studio, ensuring alignment with the firm's goals, client expectations, and industry standards.
Project Oversight:
Lead the design and execution of high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, functionality, and aesthetics. Manage the preparation of conceptual designs, construction drawings, and specifications, overseeing all phases of construction administration.
Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Translate client needs into creative, effective design solutions.
Business Development:
Utilize your network and industry reputation to attract new clients and expand the firm’s market presence and project portfolio.
Team Mentorship:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of architects and designers, fostering a collaborative, creative, and high-performing work environment.
Design Excellence:
Champion design excellence across all projects, setting high standards for creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
Operational Management:
Collaborate with firm leadership on resource allocation, budgeting, project scheduling, and profitability, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery.

Qualifications:
Licensure and Experience:
Licensed Architect with 7+ years of experience in leading architectural projects, particularly in multifamily, hospitality, residential, and commercial/mixed-use sectors.
Business Acumen:
Proven success in business development, with a track record of bringing in new business and cultivating client relationships.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
Leadership and Communication:
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of articulating complex design concepts to diverse audiences.
Creative Problem Solver:
A proactive and innovative problem solver with the ability to navigate complex design challenges and deliver exceptional solutions.
