Job Overview

The Finance and Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial and operational aspects of the company, ensuring its continued growth and success. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, accounting, and operations management within the consulting industry.

Responsibilities:

Financial ManagementDevelop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectivesOversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecastingManage cash flow and maintain strong relationships with banking partnersEnsure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirementsProvide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at the executive level

Operational LeadershipOptimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across the organizationDevelop and implement policies and procedures to streamline operationsOversee project management and resource allocation to maximize profitabilityCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of financial and operational strategies

Team ManagementLead and mentor the finance and operations teamsFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovationRecruit, train, and develop high-performing team members

Strategic PlanningParticipate in setting overall business strategy as a member of the executive teamIdentify opportunities for business growth and cost optimizationEvaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships from a financial and operational perspective

Requirements

Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferredMinimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and operations rolesAt least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position within the consulting industry
