The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) works closely with senior management to improve profitability and operational efficiency by developing operational and capital budgets, decision support, and management reporting.Core Job Responsibilities

Develop operational and capital budgets and forecastsMaintain cash flow forecastProvide financial support for multiple levels of management across the organizationProduce and distribute management and board reportingCoordinate the investigation of significant budget variances, cost trends, and utilization patternsDevelop budgetary controls and policies to ensure adherence to fiscal responsibilityPropose recommendations to senior management on cost-saving trends and revenue-generating conceptsServe as financial consultant on all new business proposals, creating ROIs and pro-formas prior to approval, track progress during implementation, and perform postmortem analysis when projects are completedFacilitate training to managers, directors, and senior leadership on budgeting process and implementationReview, approve and create general ledger accounts as needed by various departmentsMaintain budget software and organizational structural changes as it relates to budget itemsManage position control along with partners from human resourcesManage development and implementation of upgraded budget software and drive focus on continuous forecastingManage direct reports; communicating expectations, providing coaching and feedback, monitoring and managing performance and providing development opportunitiesRequirements/Preferences

Bachelor’s degree required; accounting, finance, or business preferredA minimum of 12 years of finance, accounting, or analysis experienceA minimum of 6 years in a supervisory capacityHighly developed computer/financial spreadsheet/modeling/database skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required; knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains is preferred.ACCESS is a Network of Federally Qualified Health Centers treating patients on the frontlines of community-based health care.
