We welcome talented individuals who believe in our mission, drive the organization forward, and recognize the positive impact they can bring to our communities.Position Summary:The Coordinator, Planning and Development, maintains a portfolio of grant budgets working closely with the Finance department to track invoices, review profit and loss statements, and make budget revisions as needed. This position develops and maintains systems to monitor grants which total approximately $25 million annually as part of the Planning & Development team. This is a mostly remote (work from home) position with occasional required in-person meetings. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about public health, health equity, and learning about health programming and grant management.Core Job ResponsibilitiesOrganizes and tracks grant information provided by funders, including but not limited to notice of grant awards, government statutes and regulations, program expectations and reporting guidelines, and monitors compliance with funding requirements.Develops reports and provides regular updates to the department to inform ACCESS operations and services, e.g., expenditure tracking, grant revenue, position control, subcontractor, and site visit reports.Contributes to grant reports and funder updates.Works with project directors and finance department to update grant budgets as needed and monitors grant spending status.Identifies and documents changing program expectations and regulations that impact ACCESS grant-funded programs.Implements and maintains electronic and paper filing and tracking systems for grants, grant requirements and deliverables, and reporting requirements.Provides administrative support for government grants and private grants.Develops and tracks grant-related documentation such as memoranda of understanding and subcontracts.Assists with gathering documentation and data for site visits and grant applications.Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements/PreferencesHigh School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum two (2) years of experience in planning, government grant administration or program development.Minimum one-year experience budgeting and monitoring expenditures.Minimum one-year experience creating complex reports.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint required.ACCESS is a Network of Federally Qualified Health Centers treating patients on the frontlines of community-based health care. Depending on the position applied for, candidates may be required to be vaccinated against communicable diseases and provide supporting documentation proving that they are properly vaccinated, or apply for religious and/or medical vaccination exemption as part of the application process.
