GLAUKOS - CONTRACTS SPECIALIST II
How will you make an impact?
This position will take a leading role in the legal review, drafting, and negotiation of business contracts at Glaukos. Analyzes contracts to ensure compliance with company policy, government specifications, and other requirements. This individual will engage with the full spectrum of Glaukos business departments to ensure the smooth, timely, and successful execution of contract agreements. This individual will work closely with the Glaukos Legal, Finance, Sales, and R&D teams.
What will you do?
Manage day-to-day contract review, drafting, and negotiation of high-volume contracts, varying in complexity, subject matter, and size.Proactively identify risks and opportunities within assigned contracts.Ensure assigned contracts comply with Glaukos terms & conditions, legal or governmental requirements, and any other relevant specifications.Assess the need for contract amendments, addendums, and other updates.Work collaboratively with internal and external business partners to take contracts from inception to execution.
How will you get here?
BA or BS required; JD not required but a plus.2-5 years relevant experience.Skilled in effectively prioritizing work while managing a high volume of contracts varying in complexity, subject matter, and size.Experience working with internal and external customers and clients to facilitate and manage the contract process.Draft and revise various contract types including non-disclosure, service, supply, sales, and clinical.Knowledge of standard contract terms and conditions with strong contract reviewing, drafting, and negotiation skills.Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work successfully in a fast-paced corporate environment.Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.Work experience in the legal field or contracts.Pharma/medical device industry preferred.
