The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center,Department of Internal Medicine seeks anexperienced hospitalist leader to lead the Division of Hospital Medicine andwork at Sandoval Regional Medical Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, adjacent toAlbuquerque. This position is open rank and open track. Collegial atmospheres in a physician runprogram and career development are highlights of these positions. We offer anexcellent benefit and compensation plan, and a rich quality of life in the highdesert of New Mexico. Salary and rank will be commensurate withexperience and education. The candidate will have a proven record of accomplishmentin leadership, clinical service, patient care, and education.

This position may be subject to a criminal recordsscreening in accordance with New Mexico law.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine by date of hire;Able to hold a valid NM state license; andMust be eligible to work in US.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience/interest in clinical service;Experience in strategic planning & negotiations;Experience in recruitment and hiring;A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
