About the Position:We are working with a dynamic Chicago-based private market investment firm that has an immediate need for a debt finance (or corporate transactional with exposure to or interest in lending/finance) attorney to join the legal team. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a growing company, with a great deal of exciting activity on the horizon!Highlights:• Compensation is highly competitive (commensurate with experience)• Tremendous growth potential• Full benefits package• Generous PTOResponsibilities:• Participate in a range of debt finance/direct lending and other sophisticated transactions• Review/negotiate NDAs and other commercial agreements• Handle/manage entity formations, operating agreements, franchise tax filings, investor relations questions• Handle compliance related to employee trading activity• Review marketing materialRequired Qualifications:• 4+ years of debt finance or corporate lending experience• Experience or familiarity with finance transactions and documents (i.e. credit and security agreements, deposit account control agreements, UCC financing statements, payoff letters, participation agreements, etc.)Location:Chicago, IL; Local candidates strongly preferred
