Create tools and libraries that provide foundational functionality for the core Android appProactively maintain and improve test, build, and release pipelinesCollaborate with engineering, product, design, and data counterparts to execute on cross-functional initiativesProvide input on core app architectural decisions and drive implementationFollow developments in the Android ecosystem and proactively raise improvement opportunitiesPromote a written-first culture that values documentation, tech specs, how-to’s, post-mortems, and RFC’sCommunicate best practices and platform updates to product engineersPeer review code and provide constructive feedbackConduct technical interviewsAsk for and provide help when neededWhat we look for
Proficiency in Kotlin, Dagger, RxJava, Compose, Espresso, GitAndroid build tooling like Gradle, Proguard or similarExperience with CI/CD tooling like Buildkite, Fastlane, Docker or similar. Bonus: Python, RubyPassion for Android engineering and ecosystemGood communication, written, and collaboration skillsPositive mindset, organized, and self-drivenPay Grade
